Sometime I don't feel like I'm a "real" canadian or french-canadian... I don't drink enough Last time was about a month ago... and it was MM4 fault... damn dominican rhum that he gave me... but it was pretty good though!

I'm not a big fan of rum, but when I do have it, I stick with the Jamaican stuff.

and I didn't say I remembered the gig...

I remember watching TIm pick out what leather he was gonna wear for the show...
off a rack of 30+ jackets.

nah, he's no rockstar, he's true to his punk roots.

I do remember them being onstage, but I was otherwise occupied at the time.

eh, i dont care much for the private workings of bands.

Trujillo's (Stymie to those who know his roots) artistic haydays are over if he stays with metallica. wanna see what i mean? DL an Infectious Grooves song....or listen to the base lines in latter Suicidal Tendencies discs.

hetfields always been a twat. always. and thats a fan speaking.

- Their new bass player was hired AFTER the album was recorded, and only a few weeks before they had to play live for the MTV icon show.
Trujillo was blown away to be offered the gig and the ONE MILLION dollar advance... but within days you could see on his face the "What kind of fucked-up soap opera did I join?"
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">This has always been fairly common knowledge. Bob Rock performed the bass tracks on the album.

and got kicked out for his drinking
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Alchohol was definately not the reason he got kicked out. It was because of all the hard drugs he was constantly on.

Bone... Infectious Groove is excellent. I'm hoping that Lars and Het give some creative input to Turjillo down the road otherwise.. meh.

Hoffy... Common knowledge to any who've been paying attention to Metallica. Like I said earlier, I really haven't liked anything after "And Justice..." so you could've told me that Bob Barker played bass on Saint Snare Drum and I would've had to look it up.

I've seen a good portion of the film. Lars being an asshole really stuck out to me. Especially when confronted with Mustaine. I don't recall Hetfield stinking so much on the guitar though. Maybe I never saw them playing? (I didn't see it all) Hammet did look like he was owned. Poor guy.
